This is a polynomial fit of UK SERC Schmidt J magnitudes to Palomar Quick V
magnitudes for 97,927 Guide Star Catalog sources appearing on both northern
and southern hemisphere plates.
The results were used to match the northern and hemispheres to create the
images in Figure 3 and
Figure 4.
