HST Guide Star Catalog in Galactic Coordinates
This image is an Aitoff projection of the HST Guide Star Catalog in galactic
coordinates. Source flux was collected into 15-arcminute bins after
magnitudes were recalibrated to take into account the different wavelength
responses between the photographic plates taken in the northern and southern
hemispheres on which the catalog is based.
