This image is an Aitoff projection of the HST Guide Star Catalog in galactic
coordinates. Source flux was collected into 30-arcminute bins.
Note the sharp boundary between the northern and southern hemispheres due to
the different wavelength responses between the photographic plates on which
the catalog is based.
