SKYMAP Cursor Options

The following options may be set when using the interactive graphics cursor mode:
B
Print the B1950 coordinates for this point in fractional degrees of longitude and latitude
C
Print the coordinates for this point in current coordinate system and set center point for zoom or image photometry.
E
Print the ecliptic coordinates for this point in fractional degrees of longitude and latitude
F
Print the flag for this image pixel (from a .flg ghost image)
G
Print the galactic coordinates for this point in fractional degrees of longitude and latitude
J
Print the J2000 coordinates for this point in fractional degrees of longitude and latitude
L
Type a second character (L>eft,R>ight,B>ottom,T>op) to set the grid display limits to the cursor position
M
Switch to menu mode. Switch to text window and display SKYMAP? prompt.
N
Print the number of integrations in this pixel (from a .num ghost image)
P
Plot map again
Q
Exit from cursor mode. If MENU=Y, switch to text windo and display the SKYMAP? prompt. If MENU=N, return to the Unix shell.
R
Print the right ascension and declination for this point as hours, minues, seconds and degrees, minutes, seconds in the same equinox as the map.
S
Print the number and coordinates in right ascension and declination of the closest catalog star.
U
Unzoom to original coordinate limits.
V
Print the value for closest pixel in the current image
W
Echo typed characters to display at coordinates of cursor. Terminate with a carriage return.
Z
Zoom to a window centered on the last command to the radius at which the cursor is currently positioned. Type to replot the display.

Make a hardcopy

Set or list single parameter from the current parameter string

Set the minimum value of image pixel to be displayed to the value of the closest pixel.
<
Set the maximum value of image pixel to be displayed to the value of the closest pixel.
?
Print list of cursor commands to terminal.

Toggle the diagnostic printing switch
