The 61-inch Wyeth Reflector at the Oak Ridge Observatory in Harvard, Massachusetts, is operated by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO), part of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Instrumentation includes:

• a CCD camera used for astrometric studies of comets and asteroids
  (Marsden 1991, McCrosky 1989) and

  an Echelle spectrograph used for radial velocity studies of stars

  (Peterson et al. 1993, Geary et al. 1990),

  other instruments such as MIT's high-speed photometer

  (Peterson et al 1989).

The New England Light Pollution Advisory Group is working to keep the skies dark in New England for users of this telescope and everyone else who appreciates seeing the stars at night.
