Command Line Arguments

filename
Name of FITS or IRAF image file. This must be present.

@filename
Name of file containing list of sky coordinate pairs in first two columns.
or
hh:mm:ss dd:mm:ss
Right ascension, declination coordinate pair in colon-separated format. There may be any number of these up to the maximum Unix line length, but they MUST follow the image file name argument.

The following flags are best used for files of coordinates in the same system. They are overridden by coordinate systems within the file.

-a rotation angle
WCS rotation angle (counterclockwise degrees)

-b [ra dec]
B1950 (FK4) input. WCS ra and dec, if present, overrides or replaces file with WCS.

-e
ecliptic longitude and latitude input

-j [ra dec]
J2000 (FK5) input. WCS ra and dec, if present, overrides or replaces file with WCS.

-g
galactic longitude and latitude input

-n number
Number of decimal places in output image coordinates

-o x or y
Print only x or y image coordinate (useful for scripting)

-p number
WCS plate scale in arcseconds/pixel overrides or replaces file with WCS

-s nx ny
WCS horizontal and vertical size of image in pixels

-v
Print more information about process

-x x y
WCS reference image position in pixels overrides or replaces file with WCS

-y date
Epoch as fractional year or FITS date (yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss.ss)

-z
Use classic AIPS projections subroutines instead of WCSLIB
