skycoor
Command Line Arguments

@filename
Name of file containing list of sky coordinate pairs in first two columns. The input coordinate system may be specified in the third column. If it is not given, the opposite of the selected output system is assumed: -j -> B1950 and -b -> J2000.
or
hh:mm:ss dd:mm:ss system
Right ascension, declination coordinate pair in colon-separated format, followed by the coordinate system: J2000, B1950, galactic, or ecliptic. There may be any number of these up to the maximum Unix line length. If not coordinate system is given, the opposite of the selected output system is assumed: -j -> B1950 and -b -> J2000.

-b
B1950 (FK4) output

-d
RA and Dec output in degrees

-e
ecliptic longitude and latitude output

-g
galactic longitude and latitude output

-j
J2000 (FK5) output

-n number
Number of decimal places in output right ascension seconds (one less in output declination seconds) or in output degrees (same for both angles).

-q system
Output system, including equinox: J2000 (or fk5), B1950 (or fk4), galactic or ecliptic. Case doesn't matter. Other equinox dates may be specified by substitutine for 2000 (FK5) or 1950 (FK4); J1998.25 differs from J2000 by a precessional rotation from epoch 2000.0 to epoch 1998.25. Ecliptic coordinates are at epoch 1950.0 for B1950 or 2000.0 for J2000 coordinates unless the -y command specifies a different epoch.

-r RA Dec RA Dec
Print angular separation between two sky positions in the same coordinate system (and epoch and equinox). (Added in WCSTools 2.6)

-v
print program version and echo input coordinates as well as printing output coordinates.

-w RA Dec
Convert equatorial coordinates in right ascension and declination to Cartesian equatorial coordinates (x, y, and z). (Added in WCSTools 2.6)

-x x y z
Convert Cartesian equatorial coordinates (x, y, and z) to equatorial coordinates in right ascension and declination. (Added in WCSTools 2.6)

-y
Epoch of coordinates in years for ecliptic coordinates. Equinox of coordinates in years for equatorial coordinates.
