This mode includes all of the information which is on the graphical summary page.
After a heading with the name of the program, the version, the user and machine
running xcsao, and the local time and date it is being run, there is
a multi-line entry for each spectrum for which a velocity is being sought.
- The first line includes the full filename of the spectrum and the the object name
- The second line has the sky position of the object, the observation date and
time of the observation, the heliocentric Julian Date of the midtime of the
observation, and the solar system barycentric velocity correction.
- The third line contains the wavelength range and number of pixels in
spectrum, the four limits of the cosine bell filter applied to the Fourier
transformed spectrum and template, the fraction of the spectrum and template
apodized at each end, the fraction of the correlation peak above which a
function is fit, and the number of the template which had the best correlation.
- For each template, an additional line gives the name of the template, its
intrinisic velocity, any template-dependent velocity shift to be applied, and the
solar system barycentric velocity correction for the template.
The correlation peak gives an offset velocity in km/sec and the height of that
peak as a fraction of 1.0, the R-value, which indicates the quality of the
correlation, the corrected velocity (CZ) and error in km/sec.
A series of flags follow, the first indicating the peak-fitting mode, where
1 is a parabola, 2 is a quartic, and 3 is a more complicated function.
-el indicates that emission lines were removed
(-al would indicate that absorption lines were removed).
+hi indicates that the high frequency filter was not applied to the
fourier transform of the spectrum or template for that correlation.
-tf indicates that the template transform was not filtered at all.
-tc indicates that the contiuum was not removed from the template.
