Ircam Pipeline News/Changes

Current release is 2.6.

Release 2.6:

Added flags USEDARK, USEFLAT, USESKY to each row so that the -C option (to apply a filter) can deselect some files from being used in the dark subtraction, or the flat-field creation, or the sky subtraction. An example of this filter is in /home/ircam/Lincor/Exclude.

The documentation on how to use the feature is in the section on mkfiledb.

Release 2.5:

Added capability in mkfiledb (see the -C option to mkfiledb or pipe.sh) to tailor the header keywords from other instrument data files to conform to the Stelircam processing needs.

These changes have been tested on data from the KPNO SQIID instrument.

Also some improvements and bugfixes to various parts of the pipeline.

Release 2.4:

Fixed dependencies on raw file names ending in .b.fits or .r.fits.

Release 2.3:

Reorganized to guarantee flatfielding per unique lens selection, i.e. no using a 0.6 arc-sec image to flat a 1.2 arc-sec image!

Release 2.2:

Added Pixel saturation level as a channel-dependent parameter in Lincor, plus some bug fixes.

Release 2.1:

Bug fixes to several scripts and efficiency enhancements to dark subtraction.

Release 2.0:

Release 2.0 performs parallel processing almost everywhere possible, so increases  performance dramatically on computers with multiple cpus. The default is to have one process per available cpu. Depending on cpu speed and I/O capabilities, the number of processes per cpu might be usefully increased.

Also, this release allows passing of specific parameters to particular steps, e.g. the    linearization process lincor or the flatfield creation process flatcreate.
