  Registration

This year the DDA meeting registration is being handled by the AAS. The AAS is able to use new capability for automated processing of on-line registrations to minimize costs. Additionally, you will be able to pay for registration with a credit card. Registration will open around the end of February, and the AAS can keep it open until around a week before the meeting.

We must have a final count for the meals before we arrive, so if you are intending to register on site, please notify Al Harris, awharris@lithos.jpl.nasa.gov, along with whether you want to be included in the Monday buffet and/or Tuesday banquet, so meals can be ordered. Please also specify menu selection for the banquet (salmon, clams, or roast pork).

If you are planning to leave early, before the Wednesday lunch, please let Al know. Or if you know you will miss any of the lunches, please let him know. If we can customize the lunch count to avoid wasting meals, the profits will be "liquidated" in the form of more microbrew during posters, more beer and wine for dinners, etc. We might be able to offer a hosted bar before the banquet instead of a cash bar -- please help.

The Monday buffet dinner will be prime rib of beef. If you have special dietary needs or preferences (vegetarian, Kosher, etc.), please let Al Harris know so they can be passed on to the kitchen. Alternative menus for special needs can be arranged for all meals if you let Al know in advance at awharris@lithos.jpl.nasa.gov.
